We worked with the most knowledgeable skin experts specialized in both women’s health and the microbiome to bring you a Probiotic Refreshing Cleanser for harmony down south.
MADE FOR AND BY PEOPLE WITH A VULVA. This is not your average cleanser. This formula has been exclusively crafted for vulva skin with a vulvovaginal, health-first purpose and priority.
HOW WE DO IT: The silky gel formula gently cleanses and supports your vaginal pH with a thoughtful blend of probiotics, botanical extracts and rose quartz to help balance, soothe and soften. Absolutely no synthetic fragrances, sulfates, phthalates, parabens, glycerin, gluten, or other vulva villains here.
It’s what’s inside that matters: why ingredients are important for your vulva health
Probiotics have SO many health benefits and science keeps comin’ back with more. Here’s a few:
pH is a scale from acidity to alkalinity with measurements ranging from 0-14: a pH lower than 7 is acidic and pH higher than 7 is alkaline or basic. Ya the scale seems small but each level is 10x bigger than the next!
A healthy vulva (external skin) pH averages 4.7 and a healthy vaginal pH (internal canal) averages 3.5 and ranges to 4.5 - both are considered “acidic”.
A healthy vagina will self-regulate, keeping the lady parts ecosystem (AKA ladybiome) balanced n’ fresh. An unhealthy vagina? Think yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, and less defences against STD’s and STI’s.
VULVA pH: When the vulva pH is out of whack it can cause feminine dryness, itchiness, burning, skin sensitivity and swelling. When your vulva pH is healthy, it protects you from infection and irritation!
The human body is filled with microbiomes, large groups of bacteria and other microorganisms that live on or in the human body. The vaginal microbiome, what we like to call the ladybiome is a dynamic ecosystem of bacteria, fungi and some viruses. (all healthy!)
The ladybiome is influenced by pH - all the bacteria lives together, in harmony to maintain healthy pH levels.
Keep that ladybiome in check by staying hydrated, laying off the sugar and carbs, eating fermented foods full of natural probiotics (think yogurt and kimchi) and using products like the Probiotic Refreshing Cleanser designed FOR vulva health.
Harsh soaps used around or on the vulva and vaginal area (btw, do not ever clean your vagina! We discuss this more below) can be disruptive to your pH. The problem is most soaps have a pH level of 9-10. Water’s pH (7) is also higher than your vulva’s natural level. So it’s essential to use a cleanser that has a pH range in line with your vulva’s natural levels.
We certainly don’t judge anyone who chooses to not wash their vulva – your body your choice and your choice is the best choice! However, here’s a few reasons we prefer to wash ours: sex, periods, sweating, babies, discharge, bathroom residue, lube, etc etc etc. The vulva is a high traffic area, we believe it needs some care and lovin’ with delicately made products created exclusively for women – we like to call it a “birdbath” for your vulva.
NO. HELL NO. Your vagina is a glorious entity and is self-cleaning.
PS: don’t douche, no, don’t do it. Ever.
At Lady Suite, we believe vulva care is self care. We want to change the way you care for and think about your vulva - because it’s time to smash the systematic oppression on women’s bodies once and for all. We create products designed by women for women with a platform dedicated to education and empowering conversations.

This product is just what I need as a post menopausal women I suffer from dryness, itching, and inflammation from body washes and soaps; even so called natural ones are too harsh so trying something made with the vulva in mind is very exciting. I also appreciate all the information it explains the reasons I was having so many problems.
